Ormskirk West End FC was formed by Bill Howard in 1970. The club has provided children from the local community with an opportunity to learn and play football in a safe and friendly environment.
The club is affiliated to the Liverpool FA and have teams from Under 6’s upwards. Our teams play in local leagues including Skelmersdale Junior Football League and the Hightown Junior Football League.
The club is run by a dedicated senior committee supporting the team mangers, players and parents.
We are proud to be an England accredited two star club which means that the club has a written constitution, FA CRB checked volunteers, all managers have a minimum FA level 1 coaching qualification and we are committed to supporting the FA’s Respect Campaign.
The England accreditation scheme provides a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it improves the playing experience for all.
Securing England accredited two star club status demonstrates to parents, sponsors and the public that our team is well organised, safe and provides opportunities for all.
England accreditation status also gives the club access to County FA and FA regional workforces and allows us to use the logo on marketing and business materials.
