Ormskirk West End Red vs. Skelmersdale United

West End started the game brightly and looked the better team. Chances came regularly because of the high line that Skem were playing. Unfortunately, none of them could be converted. Finally the goal came as a good free kick taken by Callum saw George run onto it and place it past the keeper. The first half ended with the score remaining 1-0.

Skem United came back from the break eager to score the equaliser and were nearly back in it but just couldn’t find the net. They had upped their game making it a lot more even. Chances came quickly at both ends but no more goals could be scored. However, with only a few minutes remaining James R hit the post but just the wrong side. The match ended with the result swinging in favour of West End.
