OWE 6-1 Dynamo Rangers Inter (League)
The coming together of 2 very strong sides provided a much needed highly competitive game of football. The first half was very even but a thunderbolt from Matt Peterson(Ormskirk),divided the sides at the interval. With the wind behind,West End turned the screw in the second period. The standard of football from both sides was fantastic.Richie Caine was very effective down the left for Inter but there was no way through a very well organised back 4 with Sean Weston and Dominic Whelan dominant.Matt Hilton scored the second for Ormskirk, then goals followed from the impressive Tom Bunclark(2) and a futher 2 from Matt Peterson. In the last minute Aaron Ware coolly converted a corner to give Inter reward for their efforts.

Kingsford 1-8 OWE (League)
Ormskirk's form is sensational at the moment.A spirited start from their opponents saw them create a couple of chances that could have been converted. It took a goal by Dom Whelan engineered by pure guts and determination to kick start his team. After this, goals followed in quick succession.A tremendous volley from Jamie Charnock followed by a second from Whelan took the score to 3-0.A great performance by Michael Marshall was capped with his 1st goal for the club which was followed by a goal from the hard working Matt Peterson.Charnock rounded off a good mornings work with x2 more goals to complete his hatrick and a low drilled shot from Matt Davies completed the scoring.Kingsford to their credit carried on battling to the end and got their rewards with a late goal from Ray Holden.

Redgate 1-4 OWE (League)
Redgate, with a a strong wind behind them had West End on the rack for periods of the 1st half and a great goal from the pacey Jake Connelly gave them a 1-0 interval lead.
Ormskirk, gradually eased their way into the game in the second period and they got a deserved equaliser through Will Tabern.Matt Peterson steered a rare left foot strike beyond Redgate's keeper for the second before Tom Bunclark made it 3 with a shot from inside the box.Peterson rounded a good performance off by running in from the right and striking the ball cleanly into the bottom left hand corner. It was comfortable in the end for Ormskirk, but the win was based on a strong rearguard performance from Dom Whelan,Sean Weston,Alex Gillespie and Jack Constantine.

Kenbury Boys 1-6 OWE (League)
Kenbury Boys 1 V Ormskirk West End 6
Jamie Charnock opened the scoring for West End with a left foot shot after being put through by Jamie Treanor. With Matt Hilton driving them on from midfield, West End were irresistable.Further goals followed from Treanor x2,Matt Peterson and Will Tabern.Kenbury got themselves back into the game in the second half and forced an own goal when a back pass resulted in the ball hitting some uneven ground and bouncing over the goalkeepers foot and into the net.The impressive Michael Marshall got his name onto the scoresheet with a powerful strike at the back post to give Ormskirk a comfortable victory.

OWE 7-1 Halsall (League)
A very tight pitch didn't prevent Ormskirk from producing some irresistable football.Jamie Charnock opened the scoring when he slid in at the far post. Will Tabern was in superb form and he got his rewards with a first half hat trick.Matt Peterson was a constant threat down the right flank and he scored either side of the interval including one directly from a corner. However the biggest cheer of the morning came when Jake Boyle finally opened his West End account when he scored with a well taken goal.Halsall to their credit didn't give up and driven on by Tom Cox got a late goal when Liam Johnson crashed the ball home from close range.
Goalscorers: Jamie Charnock (1); Will Tabern (3); Matt Peterson (2); Jake Boyle (1)
Southport FC Juniors 2-2 OWE (League)
Constant pressure ,in the first half from West End,created many chances but unfortunately for them a combination of good goalkeeping and bad luck meant that they only managed to bother the score sheet on one occasion.A tremendous through ball from man of the match Matt Hilton put Matt Peterson through and he finished with aplomb. Will Tabern scored a great goal in the second half, but then Southports cause gained momentum.A lob from distance via the right boot of James Smith, reduced the arrears and suddenly the outcome looked very different.A through ball from Zak Evans put Ryan Beyal on goal.He still had a lot to do and he unleashed a vicious shot that flew into the roof of the net.Chances for both sides came and went in the closing stages of the match but in the end a draw was a fair result.
